Members Show 2025
The Queen Anne’s County Arts Council is proud to present our first annual Members Show. Pieces from members of various backgrounds, disciplines, and experience levels are included.
We value the support and participation of our members now more than ever.

The support of our members help us with everything we do year round; gallery shows, low cost classes, free concerts, scholarships for students, grants for schools and other local arts organizations, and so much more.
This show will hang in our main gallery through September 30th. We hope you get to see it in person, but if you can’t, or you’d like to share it with someone new, here is the entire show. We are open from 10 to 4 Monday through Friday.

Statement from our show judge, Stephanie Zeiler:
This was a tough show to judge when there aren’t categories and you are looking at works from such a diverse media and technique pool like oil paintings, watercolors, prints, collage, picassiette and mixed media. As an artist that creates both with 2D and 3D pieces across various media I love a show like this and can deeply appreciate the techniques and concepts each of the artists here explored in their respective pieces. As a 28 year teacher of HS art, I’ve taught the same as I practice - across disciplines, techniques and processes and media. When I was growing up, and even in college, so often I was told that traditional technique and realism were the end-all, be-all in the artworld. As I’ve taught, developed my own artistic voice and been able to see and experience all kinds of art my understanding, appreciation and view on art has grown and that’s why I love shows like this one that bring it all together…interesting compositions, exploration of media, and creating strong narratives, in addition to exploring techniques and processes. Thanks for a greats show!!!
